If you have never studied even a little Spanish you should definitely study and bring along a phrase book or two in order to make your trip more enjoyable. Alex of Windsurfing Adícora speaks English, as does Carlos at Carlos' Windsurfing, and so do maybe a small handful of others. Particularly helpful are a few of the young local sailors you will likely meet, such as Chober and Pépo. They are often happy to practice their English or to help you out with your Spanish.
